Sanjeev Khanna is versatile leader with 20+ years of broad technology industry experience, successfully building and transforming multi-billion businesses. Strong leadership skills with a balanced combination of strategic, technical, sales & marketing, supply chain & sourcing, finance, and management expertise. Khanna currently holds the position of Senior Director for Microsoft’s Cloud Infrastructure & Operations team, the engine that powers Microsoft’s Cloud Services including Microsoft Azure, Bing, and Office 365. Khanna’s team is responsible for technology sourcing, inducing server and network hardware, datacenter infrastructure, services, and Business Development for new initiatives. As one of the leaders associated with Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure development, his accountabilities include architecting supply chain for quality, cost, reliability, and agility with an OEM, ODM, CM, & Component supplier ecosystem to deliver multi-billion dollars of IT infrastructure across the globe to over 100 datacenters. Khanna has been part of Microsoft’s OCP strategy since inception, where Microsoft has benefited from consolidated hardware design, leading to reduced overall procurement and operational costs.

Before his current position, Khanna spent 16 years with Intel (1996–2012), where he held a variety of positions in sales, marketing, finance, and operations. At Intel he was Director of Sales and Marketing for the new Intel Hybrid Cloud service business, responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategy focused on small and medium business. He also served as Director of Marketing for the Cloud segment, where he was responsible for Cloud computing marketing and Business Development with world’s largest Cloud companies and OEMs. From 2003-2008, Khanna served as Geography Manager for the Intel Server, Storage, and Embedded whitebox business in EMEA. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
